Meet your Trainer

Alex Cain

Alex started out as a youth baseball player. After years of highly competitive play, his college ball ambitions were crushed with an untimely and devastating rotator cuff injury.

Alex strayed from his love of sports and fitness for his second obsession – jazz music. He moved to Chicago and played clubs and weddings for years before succumbing to homesickness for Seattle and athletics.

After a total 360 degree change of direction, Alex returned to the Pacific Northwest and began working at Gold’s Gym, working his way from rookie trainer to Master Trainer to Fitness Manager.

Today, 10 years later, he’s leveraged his health, fitness, and nutrition expertise into forming Cain Performance, with the goal of placing the highest emphasis on the members of his programs of any gym or Personal Trainer. Alex’s highest priority is to prevent youth injuries like the one he suffered from the first training session.
